Buenos Dias!
Hope y'all are well. Let's get to it!
cool acting stuff
About a year ago, Brian Cox made some comments about Jeremy Strong's process. It came from a place of concern and most of it was probably click bait. Either way, it sparked some conversations about process. My college friend had this to say in the wake of it via IG:
There is nuance to this life. Fluidity. The binary is a fallacy. In just about all things. Remember the spectrum. Find yourself on that spectrum. Be willing to place others on that spectrum with you, not just on the poles. There is joy and there is so much pain. Your pain and your joy and everything in between is your righteous journey. No one else's to claim. But it does not eclipse that of someone else. No matter how different, problematic, confusing they might be. Despite pain, we should not actively seek to shut people down. Compassion and empathy is our lifeline.

It's a big emphasis with people I get to work with: Find your process. As long as you're not hurting anyone, especially yourself, your process is nobody's business.
cool music stuff
Spotify is more miss than hit when giving me recommendations, but the new daylist feature is nailing it... so far.
stuff that lives rent free in my head
All of Dune. I'm hyped for Part 2. Don't watch the trailer if you're like Frank Costanza.
Also, Jamie Foxx in Jarhead. One of the many moments in movies where you say to yourself, "no one else could play that role.'
That about wraps it up. HIt me up with any thoughts or questions.
